Patrick is a corporate attorney with nearly two decades of experience, combining a sophisticated legal practice with practical business counsel. He began his career at an Am Law 200 firm as a corporate restructuring attorney, guiding distressed businesses through complex financial challenges. He later served as the sole in-house counsel for an international, multi-division manufacturing company. This combination of experience gives Patrick a unique perspective on both the technical intricacies of high-stakes transactions and the real-world considerations business leaders face every day.
Before joining UB Greensfelder, Patrick spent more than eight years as in-house counsel, where he worked closely with company ownership and executive leadership on the full spectrum of legal issues that arise in a dynamic, growth-oriented business. His work included acquisitions, contract negotiation, corporate governance, international law, litigation management, employment matters, and real estate transactions.
Prior to going in-house, Patrick specialized in financial restructuring, representing debtors, creditor constituents, and buyers of assets in high-stakes transactions and bankruptcy proceedings. In addition, he advised clients on joint venture structures designed to mitigate insolvency risk.
Patrick is known for his ability to navigate multifaceted legal issues with clarity and precision, collaborating closely with executives, boards, and cross-functional teams to align legal strategy with business goals.
