Owen represents clients in complex product liability litigation, defending claims involving consumer goods, pharmaceutical products, and emerging technologies. He leverages his scientific background and familiarity with clinical writing to better defend client interests involving proprietary and niche technology.

Prior to joining the firm, Owen focused on intellectual property litigation at an Am Law 100 firm, where he handled patent infringement matters, giving him a unique perspective on cases involving technical products and innovation. His experience includes litigating before federal courts, the International Trade Commission, and advising on intellectual property portfolio management during mergers and acquisitions.

While attending Case Western Reserve University School of Law, he served as a Justice J. Story Intellectual Property Fellow and Honors Writing Fellow. He was an executive board member of the Jonathan M. Ault Mock Trial team, winning first place in the Case Classic National Mock Trial Competition. Owen also worked as a certified legal intern for the Intellectual Property Venture Clinic.

Owen holds a B.S. in chemistry with a minor in entrepreneurship from John Carroll University.

In his spare time, Owen enjoys tabletop gaming, weightlifting, and posting to his amateur home cooking social media accounts.
