Nathan A. Quaglia

Nathan Quaglia focuses his practice on products liability, toxic tort and environmental law. He has extensive experience in asbestos litigation, representing manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, premises owners and contractors. He implements defense strategy in federal and state litigation, defending claims alleging asbestos exposure. His work includes the full spectrum of asbestos and toxic tort litigation, from initial case evaluation to all aspects of discovery, dispositive motions, and mediation through trial.

In environmental matters, Nathan navigates regulatory compliance aspects of major transactions including mergers and acquisitions, Superfund litigation defense, contaminated property disputes, and chemical regulatory reporting. In his previous roles at national law firms, he served as chair and co-chair for the environmental practice groups.

Nathan also draws experience from his professional background in environmental science. He previously worked with the Environmental Enforcement Division for the Illinois Attorney General’s office, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5, and with a private environmental risk management consulting company. He has taken his skills to the classroom as well, having taught Environmental Law and Policy as an adjunct professor at DePaul University. He has presented extensively to organizations including banks, insurance agencies and brokerages, environmental consulting firms, law firms and other corporations on important environmental updates, risk management and other topics.
