Individuals are recognized for their invaluable counsel to hospitals, clinics, and other health care entities on a broad spectrum of issues ranging from regulatory compliance to real estate matters.

As Co-Group Leader of UB Greensfelder's Health Care Practice, Butler leads the firm’s attorneys and legal professionals to counsel clients on sophisticated and challenging business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and more, and ensure they are structured in accordance with federal and state physician self-referral laws, anti-kickback laws, false claims laws, and other applicable regulations. 

Butler combines a long-standing passion for the health care industry with her vast legal knowledge to advise hospitals, health systems, physician practices, and other health care providers across the health care spectrum. She brings extensive leadership experience to the health care industry, her clients, and the firm. Throughout her distinguished career, Butler has held various leadership positions within the firm and professional organizations. Before joining UB Greensfelder, she served as in-house counsel for a prominent health care system, which provided her with invaluable insights into the operational and managerial challenges faced by hospitals.
