  • Obtained jury trial defense verdict on behalf of accounting and business advisory firm sued for breach of contract and accounting malpractice by a credit card processing company seeking in excess of $3 million in damages for an alleged failure to identify errors in the plaintiff’s financial statements during an audit.
  • Obtained dismissal on behalf of attorney for guardian in lawsuit involving claims by guardian’s former ward for fraud and conversion relating to investments in excess of $1 million. Won case on appeal in Ohio’s Eighth District Court of Appeals.
  • Part of litigation team that reached favorable settlements representing a national bank in prosecution of claims against two former bank employees who left the client’s employment to join a competitor. The ex-employees were bound by confidentiality agreements but took hundreds of confidential documents from the client and were actively soliciting customers. The court issued a preliminary injunction against both defendants’ further use of trade secrets, and ordered all data and documents be returned to the client.
