Tad is an accomplished litigator who represents businesses, corporate clients, and their insurers in civil litigation. His practice focuses on product liability, property damage, personal injury, and machinery and premises liability claims. Tad also has significant experience in environmental and toxic tort litigation, including asbestos-related matters.
With a hands-on approach, Tad partners closely with clients from the outset of a case through its resolution, ensuring they remain informed and empowered throughout the legal process. While he is a dedicated trial attorney, Tad remains focused on helping clients proactively manage risk and avoid litigation when possible.
Before joining UBG, Tad practiced with national law firms in the greater St. Louis area, where he handled a broad range of matters including product liability, workers’ compensation, mass torts, premises liability, and patent prosecution. He has represented large multinational corporations in high-stakes product liability and toxic tort disputes.
Outside of his legal practice, Tad is committed to public service. Through the Missouri Coalition for the Right to Counsel (MCRC), he provided pro bono representation to a felony criminal defendant. Tad also serves as a Board Trustee of the Maryville Illinois Fire Pension Fund and volunteers his time with Heartlands Conservancy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving land, promoting healthy and clean water, increasing community resiliency, and engaging people with nature.
