UB Greensfelder Welcomes Four Attorneys, Continuing Growth Across Multiple Practice Areas

UB Greensfelder LLP is pleased to announce the addition of four attorneys to the firm. Sarah Kamensky recently joined the Health Care Practice Group; J. Cira Luo joined the Trusts & Estates Practice Group; Carolyn M. McAllister joined the Employee Benefits Practice Group; and Jeffrey D. Shelley joined the Tax and Trusts & Estates Practice Groups.
Kamensky joins the firm as an Associate. She advises health care clients on various business matters, including financing and investments, mergers and acquisitions, and tax-exempt status. She has particular experience assisting clients with secured and unsecured financing transactions, including term loans, mezzanine loans, revolving loans, intercreditor agreements, guarantees, security agreements, and letters of credit. Kamensky earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and her B.F.A, cum laude, from University of Georgia.
Luo joins the firm as an Associate. She advises clients on estate planning, fiduciary administration of trusts and estates, probate litigation strategies, and wealth transfer tax strategies. Offering tailored solutions to individuals and families, Luo addresses clients’ specific circumstances and helps safeguard their financial futures. She earned her J.D. and LL.M. from Washington University School of Law and her LL.B. from East China University of Political Science and Law.
McAllister joins the firm as Counsel. She helps employers and executives navigate a wide range of employee benefits matters, including advising on plan design, compliance, and interpretations of evolving employee benefits laws. She has extensive experience counseling clients on retirement plans, executive compensation, and health and welfare plans. Additionally, McAllister is well versed in ERISA fiduciary responsibilities, and she often advises clients on employee benefits issues in connection with mergers and acquisitions. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from University of Wisconsin Law School and her B.S.E.E. from Cornell University.
Shelley joins the firm as Counsel. His practice focuses on advising individuals, entrepreneurs, and business owners on estate planning and administration, transfer taxation, and business planning. He frequently designs and implements comprehensive wealth transfer and business succession plans for high-net-worth individuals and families to effectively protect, manage, and transfer wealth while also minimizing the tax impact. Additionally, Shelley represents executors and trustees in estate and trust administration, including federal and state estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and probate court matters. He earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, LL.M. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and B.S. from Purdue University.
