Sarah Henderson

With more than a decade of experience leading complex eDiscovery and internal investigations for human resources litigation, Sarah serves as eDiscovery counsel with the firm. She has extensive experience advising in the areas of strategic legal discovery management and regulatory compliance and leading cross-functional teams, engaging with stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective litigation responses.

Sarah oversees the entire EDRM lifecycle, from data collection through processing, review, and production, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards. She also ensures compliance with data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, information governance, and risk management. Sarah is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) and is well-versed in the emerging trends in eDiscovery, data privacy laws, and AI-driven legal technologies, advising clients on potential impacts and opportunities.

In addition to her eDiscovery and investigations practice, Sarah advises clients on data privacy and information governance matters, including GDPR and CIPA compliance, data retention and disposition strategies, and regulatory risk management. Her work regularly involves counseling on Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), developing and implementing data retention policies, and advising on best practices for the collection, use, and storage of data to balance operational needs with privacy, security, and compliance obligations. Drawing on her background in both litigation and regulatory contexts, Sarah helps clients align discovery strategy with broader data governance goals to reduce risk and cost while maximizing data utility.

Most recently, Sarah was vice president and general counsel with an American multinational finance company where she managed discovery for complex, high-exposure cases involving sexual harassment, discrimination, failure to accommodate, affirmative employment action, and class actions.

Sarah began practicing law as an associate first with a general litigation and employment law firm in California and then with a leading women's rights in the workplace law firm in New York.  

When not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and three children exploring the beautiful Colorado mountains.
