Jennifer oversees the firm’s Risk Management Department, including business intake, conflicts, information governance, and records management, helping to identify and mitigate issues that could impact clients and the firm. As Assistant General Counsel, she advises on professional responsibility issues, ethics obligations, and internal compliance. Jennifer works closely with firm attorneys to ensure that client engagements comply with professional responsibility requirements and firm policies. She also contributes to strategic planning, budgeting, and vendor management to support the firm’s operational efficiency and client‑service goals.
A licensed attorney, Jennifer has extensive experience in professional responsibility, risk management, and business acceptance. Before joining UB Greensfelder, she served as Director of Risk Management at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP and as New Business Counsel/Business Acceptance Counsel – Americas at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. Earlier in her career, Jennifer practiced in both litigation and municipal law.
Jennifer formerly served as a Committee member and Division Special Representative for the Missouri Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel, where she investigated and litigated attorney discipline matters.
Jennifer is valued for her practical, detail-oriented approach and her ability to navigate complex ethical and risk-related issues with clarity and sound judgment.
Outside of her professional work, Jennifer is committed to service and community impact. She is an altruistic kidney donor and takes pride in contributing in meaningful ways that extend beyond her legal career.
