Jason is a strategic problem-solver who enjoys learning about a client’s business and the challenges facing that business and then developing a cost-efficient approach to address those challenges and further the client’s short- and long-term goals.

Jason focuses on solving clients’ issues related to construction projects to minimize risks and promote the profitability of construction projects. He has extensive experience resolving disputes of all kinds (payment, delay, defect, etc.), including but not limited to situations that result in construction arbitration and/or litigation. In addition to Jason’s core construction practices, he also focuses on catastrophic loss, landslide, complex business, product liability, and trust, estate, and fiduciary litigation.

He has participated in several high-stakes cases involving fires, explosions, burns, electrocutions, automobile and industrial accidents, structural collapses, and other instances of catastrophic personal injury and loss of life.

Jason is ranked as one of Ohio’s “Leaders in Their Field” in Construction by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. He has been named to both The Best Lawyers in America® for Construction Law as well as Ohio Super Lawyers. Jason takes his clients’ battles personally and formulates comprehensive strategies to obtain the best possible results for his clients whether in litigation, business negotiations, internal business challenges, or other issues. In his many years of experience, Jason has represented numerous clients in litigation and business affairs. This includes not only all stakeholders in construction projects but also banks in commercial and UCC-related litigation, businesses in contractual negotiations and disputes with competitors, suppliers, and partners, and trustees, executors, and beneficiaries in probate litigation.
