With more than four decades of experience in general corporate law, Ed Chod has built long-standing relationships with the businesses and individuals he represents. In mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, general business planning, corporate finance and estate planning, Ed provides sound counsel on both legal and business issues.
In his representation of private and public companies ranging from family-owned businesses to mid-market and larger entities, Ed is involved in all aspects of general business and corporate planning and organizational structuring. He negotiates and prepares merger and acquisition documents, employment agreements and finance structuring on behalf of borrowers. Many clients also rely on his assistance with estate planning, wealth management and business succession planning. His approach combines legal counsel with strategic advice on business and family issues, informed by his deep understanding of each client’s goals and preferences.
