Johanna Ananth

Associate

Johanna focuses her practice in the area of health care law. She draws on her extensive internship experiences with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and Georgetown's O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law in Washington, D.C., where she researched and analyzed health care-related litigation while working closely with the White House.

While attending Saint Louis University School of Law, Johanna concentrated in health law and intellectual property. She also served as a judicial clerk intern for the Honorable Audrey G. Fleissig in the Eastern District of Missouri and was a summer associate with a nationally-recognized health care law firm in Indianapolis.

Additionally during law school, Johanna served as lead editor of the Journal of Health Law and Policy, vice president of Phi Delta Phi Academic Honor Society, and marshal of Phi Alpha Delta professional law fraternity. She was secretary of the Health Law Association and a first year representative in the Women Law Students’ Association. Johanna also was the recipient of the merit-based Dean’s Scholar Scholarship.

Johanna earned her undergraduate degree in public health science from the University of Maryland College Park. In her free time she enjoys practicing Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance, and playing pickleball.
