Women in Law & Leadership
UB Greensfelder Women in Law and Leadership (WILL CONNECT) is a driving force behind the firm’s commitments to attract, retain, and advance women lawyers. WILL CONNECT is a critical component of the firm’s broader inclusion efforts, and promotes the successes of women both within the firm and among our clients. WILL CONNECT brings female professionals together to network, learn from each other, celebrate achievements, and provides a platform to share their success stories.
WILL CONNECT strives to empower women lawyers as they build rewarding careers. The group hosts a variety of events throughout the year that bring women professionals together to develop relationships, share their passions, and their collective drive to positively impact the world around them.
WILL CONNECT in Action

Women attorneys across UB Greensfelder’s offices gathered in person and virtually for an engaging panel discussion on “Celebrating Women Who Tell Their Stories.” Three women partners who made a significant mark on the firm were joined in conversation by three associates who are treading a new path for the firm’s future.

Partner Patricia A. Shlonsky was the recipient of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Nettie Cronise Lutes Award. The Award, named after the first woman licensed to practice law in Ohio, was established to recognize women lawyers who have improved the legal profession through their own high levels of professionalism and who have opened doors for other women and girls.

Attorneys in UB Greensfelder's Columbus office hosted clients and friends for a reception before the annual Women's Fund of Central Ohio Keyholder Event at the Wexner Center for the Arts. This event has raised millions to support the organization’s research, grantmaking, and advocacy, and inspired thousands of individuals to join the movement for gender equity.
