Kevin M. Bandy

Kevin defends clients in product liability litigation and pharmaceutical, medical device, and mass tort claims. He represents a diverse array of clients in multidistrict, coordinated, and consolidated proceedings, as well as putative class actions and “one-off” product liability suits. He has experience with all aspects of complex litigation and has represented clients in multiple state and federal jurisdictions nationwide, including multidistrict litigation involving thousands of plaintiffs. He has researched and drafted numerous procedural and substantive pleadings, such as summary judgment motions, oppositions to motions for class certification, and appeals.

While in law school, Kevin was publications editor of University of Cincinnati Law Review and received the Ernest Karam Outstanding Excellence Award in Advocacy. He also was the winner of an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, which was awarded to 174 student-athletes in their final year of eligibility with plans to pursue graduate studies who maintained a 3.2 GPA, performed with distinction as a varsity team member, and were nominated by the university faculty athletics representative.

A former swimmer, 2012 USA Swimming Olympic trial qualifier, and captain of the men’s swim team at the University of Louisville, Kevin now regularly competes in half marathons and marathons to raise money for charitable organizations. In 2021, he ran the Chicago Marathon for the benefit of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and in 2023, he ran the New York City Marathon on behalf of the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation.
