Jennifer Snyder Heis

Jeni defends manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceutical products and dietary supplements in complex litigation, including multidistrict litigation and consolidated state court proceedings, as well as individual cases throughout the country. She also represents clients from a range of industries, including consumer products, construction and industrial machinery, and household appliances in products liability cases.

With over 20 years of experience handling complex litigation, she develops effective legal strategies for defending related lawsuits in multiple venues, including crafting successful arguments for summary judgment and other dispositive motions. Working with clients from start to finish, Jeni has vast experience handling all aspects of state and federal litigation, including trial, appeal, and alternative dispute resolution. As a key member of teams that formulate nationwide litigation strategies, Jeni has substantial experience working through eDiscovery issues, and she has argued eDiscovery issues in various court settings.

She also counsels food and dietary supplement companies on regulatory issues, including labeling and risk management, and counsels clients regarding the Drug Supply Chain Security Act.

In addition to serving on the firm’s Governing Board, Jeni is active in the legal community, serving drug and medical device manufacturers. She previously chaired the DRI Drug & Medical Device Seminars in 2022 and 2023, and she currently serves as Vice Chair of DRI’s Drug & Medical Device Committee. She also serves as a Vice Chair on IADC’s Drug, Device, and Biotechnology Committee.
