June 25, 2024
June 25, 2024 – UB Greensfelder LLP is pleased to announce that Erica N. Carducci, an associate in the firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group, has been inducted into the 2024 Fellows Program of the Ohio State Bar Foundation (OSBF), the largest bar foundation in the United States which works to advance the law and build a better justice system by awarding hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants annually to nonprofit organizations across Ohio. Carducci was one of 21 fellows inducted by Chief Justice Sharon Kennedy at a ceremony at the Supreme Court of Ohio on June 11.
Carducci concentrates her legal practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, and taxation. She is a graduate of Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati College of Law and is actively involved in the leadership of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Committee. Carducci has volunteered with several organizations over her career, including the Special Olympics Hamilton County as well as the Summit Elementary parent teacher organization.
Each class of OSBF Fellows designs its own year-long experience centered on a topic chosen after discussing important issues in the justice system that they might impact by using their resources as lawyers to research, plan, network, and educate. Fellows enjoy this opportunity to make a difference in a way that they may not be able to execute through their job or on their own. Over the years, OSBF Fellows have developed a variety of community service initiatives focused on issues such as human trafficking, immigrant/refugee citizen education, prisoner reentry into communities, access to justice for developmentally disabled youth, news reporting on the legal system, and more.
As the Professional Honorary of Ohio Lawyers, the OSBF has welcomed a new class of fellows, who exemplify the highest standards of professionalism and are committed to serving their communities, each year since its inaugural class of 1998. The 2024 class includes attorneys from various private law firms, as well as judges, policy experts, and advocates. For the complete list of the 2024 class of OSBF Fellows, click here.
