With more than 20 years of experience, Dane helps her clients, including educational and research institutions, startups, and small and midsize businesses, navigate the legal and operational challenges of employing foreign national talent in the United States. She partners with in‑house counsel, human resources teams, and business leaders to align immigration solutions with broader employment, compliance, and operational goals.
Dane’s practice focuses on employment‑based nonimmigrant and immigrant matters, including H‑1B, L‑1, TN, E‑1/E‑2, and O‑1 visas, and PERM labor certification and permanent residence processes. She also advises employers on I‑9 compliance, audit response, and related employment‑based regulatory issues.
Prior to joining UBG, Dane founded and led her own business immigration practice and practiced at boutique and Am Law 200 firms, advising employers across a variety of industries. She has also held leadership roles at legal technology companies, where she helped develop scalable immigration workflows and compliance solutions.
Dane is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), previously serving as a liaison to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
