UB Greensfelder LLP is pleased to announce that Dolores (Lola) Garcia, Partner and Co-Group Leader of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group, has been selected to the 2025 class of Leadership Cleveland by the Cleveland Leadership Center. This distinguished class was selected based on demonstrated leadership and commitment to Cleveland.

The Cleveland Leadership Center’s mission is to build a continuum of civic leaders committed to our community’s excellence by serving as a catalyst for civic engagement. The Leadership Cleveland Class of 2025 will kick off in September, when participants will gather for intensive sessions, site visits, and retreats to appreciate the rich diversity of Greater Cleveland, gain insight on challenges and opportunities, and strengthen and grow key relationships. The program provides unique and meaningful opportunities for high-level conversations with leaders, stakeholders, and organizations across sectors.

Garcia is a dedicated first-chair trial lawyer who handles complex commercial litigation matters. She counsels business clients both before and after litigation arises on wide-ranging issues involving business disputes, commercial contract interpretation, and compliance issues. She has represented large and small organizations, including financial institutions, real estate developers, health care facilities and providers, and manufacturers in state and federal courts. 

As an active community leader and advocate, Garcia sits on the board of directors for several nonprofits including Providence House, SPACES, the Tri-C Foundation, Say Yes Cleveland Scholarship Program, and MetroHealth Foundation.

Throughout her career, Garcia has earned numerous accolades. She was selected by Corporate Counsel Business Journal to their “50 Women to Watch” list, named a “Latino Leader Worth Watching,” by Profiles in Diversity Journal, named one of the “Most Influential Black Lawyers in America” by Savoy Magazine, and selected for the Crain’s Cleveland Business list of “Notables in Law.” Garcia is consistently recognized by Ohio Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America®.
