Hillary E. Kump

Hillary focuses her legal practice in personal injury and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on product liability cases. She assists clients with dispute resolution through arbitration, mediation, or settlement to achieve the best possible outcome.

Prior to joining UB Greensfelder, Hillary practiced with a Chicago-based trial and appellate litigation law firm, where she focused on  insurance defense, negligence, construction disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract claims, and real estate transactions. 

While attending law school, Hillary served as a teaching assistant for the legal writing, skills, and values class. She also completed several legal internships, including as a student clinician at the Florida Center for Capital Representation assisting on The Balanced Justice Project. While competing as a member of the Moot Court Board of Appellate Advocacy and the Trial Advocacy Program, Hillary was a quarterfinalist at the Emory Civil Rights & Liberties 14th Annual Competition in 2020 and a semifinalist at the American Association for Justice’s Student Trial Advocacy Competition in 2021. She earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards^® for her coursework in both Trial Advocacy and Pre-Trial Practice and a Medal of Distinction in Pro Bono Service.

Hillary earned her B.A. in Political Science and International Relations, with a certificate in European Studies, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her J.D. from Florida International University College of Law.
