Alisha Patel assists businesses with a variety of corporate transactions, including those related to mergers and acquisitions, contracts, entity formation and dissolution, and other corporate matters. She specializes in advising private and public healthcare companies, long-term holding companies, private equity sponsors, and venture capital firms, partnering with her clients to navigate the tax, real estate, and health regulatory issues that arise for health care specialists. Alisha’s expertise includes drafting and reviewing purchase agreements, employment agreements, bills of sale, assignment and assumption agreements, transition services agreements, and continuity agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Alisha was an associate with corporate law firms in St. Louis and Nashville, where she practiced in business law, focused in the healthcare technology, ambulatory surgical center, dental, and vision specialty sectors.

Alisha earned her J.D. from Belmont University College of Law, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a B.A. in Urban Studies and Pre-Medical Studies from Rhodes College.
