Abby supports clients through all phases of construction-related legal matters, including contract preparation, review, and negotiation, as well as dispute resolution through mediation, arbitration, and litigation. She works with a diverse range of industry stakeholders, such as contractors, design-builders, subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineers. Abby assists her clients in navigating complex construction issues and ensuring they are in compliance with applicable law and regulations.
Prior to joining the firm and while in law school, Abby gained valuable experience through a series of judicial and legal internships. During law school, she externed with Justice Patrick F. Fischer at the Supreme Court of Ohio. She was also a Summer Associate at a boutique Cincinnati law firm, helping with matters in various areas of litigation, land use, and constitutional law. Her earlier experience includes clerking for the City of Cincinnati Law Department, where she reviewed and recommended revisions to city ordinances and assisted with litigation matters involving governmental liability and constitutional issues. Most recently, Abby served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Ohio First District Court of Appeals with Judge (Ret.) Pierre H. Bergeron and Judge Terry A. Nestor.
Abby earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and her J.D. from the University of Kentucky, J. David Rosenberg College of Law as an inaugural Rosenberg Scholar. During law school, Abby was actively involved in the Student Government Association, and she served as a member of the Code of Student Conduct Hearing Board and the University Appeals Board.
